Cyclists of CK Banská Bystrica among TOP sportsmen of Banská Bystrica

Every year the City of Banská Bystrica commemorates the achievements of its sportsmen at social event in the premises of City Hall at the presence of mayor, representatives, guests, mass media, and of course, the sportsmen.

Among the best ones, who achieved fantastic sport results in 2013, like Anastasiya Kuzmina (biathlon), Tomáš Klobučník (swimming), Materj Tóth (athletics - walking), belong also our cyclists for the 1st place in Slovak Cup in cyclo-cross, for winning the champion title of the Slovak Republic in the team time-trial and for the 3rd place in the Slovak Cup on the road. Martin Fraňo, who confirmed achieved results with his signature into Visitor´s Book and Jozef Palčák, both the members of master time-trial team, have taken the price for the club.

Even the contestants of non-olympic sports like Jaroslav Paľa (Kickbox), Ján Pavlík (Triathlon), Lucia Kováčiková (Karate), Junior Category, coaches, clubs and also Michal Handzuš, who became a sport celebrity, were not forgotten. An evening with a great arrangement ended with an informal discussion among awarded sportsmen, functionaries and event managers with a small snack and high-quality beer Urpiner brewed in Banská Bystrica.
